OUR HISTORY

Born in Paris, raised in Guinea and Ivory Coast and then continued studies in Paris and the US, our founder brings a unique blend of international perspective and deep-rooted connections with the community and within the industry.

We started our successful journey modestly in the 1970s with just a small group of cashew farmers in Guinea, who wanted to develop and grow internationally by sharing their produce with the world. We began by collecting, drying, packing, and shipping cashews to our first customers. What started as a humble initiative has grown into a thriving business with an extensive product portfolio.

TODAY

Today, we are headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska and we operate across the world, with warehouses strategically located in the United States, Europe, and Africa. This expansive infrastructure enables us to efficiently manage our supply chain and deliver exceptional products to customers worldwide.

Our company has developed and evolved into a vertically integrated company. This means, that we ensure close monitoring of the whole procedure of manufacturing, processing, sourcing, packaging, sales and distribution of every single product we provide. From beginning to end. In an effort to guarantee quality of the product, our local agents select the best qualities and we carry out third party laboratory tests on all our products.

We source our raw materials directly from the farmers.  B&D Trading LLC has experienced agents in more than six West African countries, sourcing and verifying the quality of the raw material.

We have put in place direct facility local warehouses for more efficient cleaning, sorting and repacking of the product.

Our expansive operations and strong community ties within major raw materials producing regions, have gone a long way in helping our company establish a reputation as the only bridge between Africa and the rest of the world when it comes to processing and export of the product. We are the farmers representative in the Industry. This means that we are aware of the need to keep the farmers happy and we are very supportive of them by bringing advice and guidance to help develop their business and crop.
